Located just south of Carnes, this deck girder bridge crosses an unnamed tributary of the Floyd River alongside Iowa Highway 60.
Built in 1909, the bridge consists of a single deck girder span, set onto concrete substructures. Little alterations appear to have been made to the bridge since the original construction.
It is likely that this bridge replaced an older trestle bridge. This type of bridge is common along this route for crossing streams.
Unfortunately, no plaque was found on the bridge, meaning no build date is currently known for the structure. The author plans on conducting further research on this.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with little notable deterioration.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
